In 2006 Imago Dei College’s Founder Dr. Aaron Hebbard envisioned a school where young Christian minds and lives would be trained for clear, integrated, and well-rounded thinking in order to become the next generation of leaders in the Kingdom of God in all areas of life. The model of education would clearly be classical Christian liberal arts where the great books of Western Civilization would be read in order that these students would enter proficiently and intelligently into the ‘Great Conversation,’ and staunchly defend and propagate the Christian and biblical worldview. Surpassing other ‘great books’ colleges at the time, the integration would go far beyond the curriculum. Physical fitness, spiritual maturation through discipleship, broad social consciousness, cultural cognizance, and interpersonal relations all converge into the total development and education of its students.
